[00:00:00] Speaker A: This is the Morning Journey Rewind with Mark and Brittany. Never miss a moment.
[00:00:05] Speaker B: This week on the Morning Journey Rewind. Brittany gets back from the funeral. Mark and Brittany try Peeps and KFC jelly beans. Brittany is atop the NCAA bracket challenge. She gets tear gassed by onions. And have you ever had a duh moment?
[00:00:19] Speaker C: You had to travel out of town because you had a funeral to attend out of state. And so we were all praying for you yesterday.
[00:00:27] Speaker D: Thank you. Yeah, my husband's cousin passed away unexpectedly. He was 34 and pretty tragically as well. And so we went to the funeral and it was interesting because on the way home yesterday, our church posted kind of what their sermon was about. It was about leaving a legacy. And the statement was a disciplined life leaves a legacy. And I thought after all the things I heard at the funeral, like no one represents that statement better than my husband's cousin. He was such a man of faith in everyone from every walk of his life. Like it wasn't just family or friends, it was his co workers and the campus pastor when he was in college, like everybody said the same thing, that he would like get up early and spend time with Jesus and he taught all his friends how to pray and led so many other people to Christ and was just really disciplined in his faith. Like that led how he parented it led how he was a husband and a father. And it was just really cool to see at 34 years old, he lived a life of faith that most people don't live their whole life.
And so I think we all really just took comfort in that, knowing that he's with Jesus and that we can have, have peace in those moments. And it really like convicted a lot of us to think, you know, what legacy are we leaving? What are people going to say about us? And so yeah, 34 years old, great man of faith. And so as sad as it was, it was really nice to hear from his friends stories about him and the impact he had on everyone in his life.
[00:01:46] Speaker C: So Brittany mentioned a few minutes ago that she was out of town over the weekend to attend a funeral. You were taking your three year old daughter. So this was a first.
[00:01:56] Speaker D: Yes. So we took Stella with us and we were wondering how this would go. Now we mostly took her because outside of the funeral, we thought she'd be a good distraction for everyone. She hadn't seen her grandparents in a while on that side of the family. And so we were like, we'll take her and then we'll see how she does at the funeral. And so we Bought all these little toys that were quiet toys for her to play with. We bought two packs of gummy snacks to take Gummy Nerd Clusters and Sour Patch Kids. And we were like, okay, we're prepared. Well, well, when we got there, we realized we had, like, over an hour before the funeral even started.
And then so we got her in church, and we started, like, giving her the little toys to play with. And we let her, like, run around with my cousin's kids for a little bit at the beginning, before the service started.
And then the service starts, and within about 10 minutes, we were through our first pack of candy, and she was over the toys that we had bought, even though they were new. And so luckily she was quiet. So nobody. Like, she wasn't really a distraction to anyone but me and my husband, because she was so. She was, like, up and down off the seat and, like, laying on our laps and kicking her feet everywhere. And I was just like, it's a
[00:02:59] Speaker C: long time for a child to have
[00:03:00] Speaker D: to sit still, especially when they don't really know what's going on. Now, when the songs were being sung, she liked that part, so she kind of, like, paid attention to that. But everything else, she was all over the place. And so afterwards, we were like, oh, my goodness. Did anyone else notice that? Everybody else was like, no, she was fine because she was quiet. So she did well, she was quiet for the most part. It was just a distraction to us because she was so squirmy. And we're like, just stay in this area, please. Like, don't kick the man next to us.
[00:03:27] Speaker A: Good company makes for a great day. The morning journey with Mark and Brittany.
[00:03:33] Speaker C: We have been telling you that we're going to try some Peeps as we get ready for Easter. A lot of people love the Peeps. I am not a fan of Peeps. I've never liked, even when I was a kid. That is the candy that was left in my Easter basket that I would not eat. But some people absolutely, absolutely love Peep. So we have a variety of flavors.
[00:03:54] Speaker D: I feel like this is, like, the worst Easter candy, like, ever.
[00:03:57] Speaker C: So which one are you opening now?
[00:03:59] Speaker D: These are the originals.
[00:04:00] Speaker C: Okay, These are.
[00:04:00] Speaker D: I figured we'd start with the originals and try those, but we have originals. We have Butterbeer, we have Dr. Pepper, sour watermelon, Frosted Strawberry, and Rice Krispie treats.
[00:04:12] Speaker C: Rice Krispie treats.
[00:04:14] Speaker D: Maybe it's funny because my husband and I know Deborah from our office likes this, too. They like them when they are.
What's it called? Hard. Like when they get stale and hard.
[00:04:24] Speaker C: Never say that.
[00:04:25] Speaker D: Now, to be fair, I'll put this out there. I am a fan of marshmallows. I do like marshmallows.
[00:04:30] Speaker C: Okay.
[00:04:30] Speaker D: I just don't like peeps. So here goes the original. I mean, it's fine.
[00:04:37] Speaker C: I can deal with it.
[00:04:38] Speaker D: I would like. It's not edible, but this isn't the aftertaste.
[00:04:41] Speaker C: It's not the candy that I'm reaching for, though Brittany's already getting rid of hers.
[00:04:45] Speaker D: The aftertaste is what I can't deal with. I don't like the aftertaste.
[00:04:48] Speaker C: That's the original peep.
[00:04:50] Speaker D: All right, here's the collab with Dr. Pat Pepper. We talked about this, like, a while ago. I don't know that Dr. Pepper was combining.
[00:04:56] Speaker C: I don't know about this.
[00:04:57] Speaker D: I don't think this is necessary.
[00:04:59] Speaker C: Like, this is one of those. The mashups that everybody is doing smell gross.
[00:05:03] Speaker D: Like, they don't smell like you should eat.
[00:05:05] Speaker C: Does it smell like Dr. Pepper?
[00:05:06] Speaker D: No, they just smell like cardboard. Like, okay.
[00:05:09] Speaker C: It doesn't. Doesn't look that great either.
[00:05:12] Speaker D: It actually does kind of smell like Dr. Pepper.
[00:05:14] Speaker C: Is that like, a. What Is that, a rust color?
[00:05:16] Speaker D: Yeah, they do kind of smell like Dr. Pepper, actually.
[00:05:20] Speaker C: Okay. It's like a.
There's a little Dr. Pepper taste. It's like a flat Dr. Pepper, right?
[00:05:27] Speaker D: Like, if you, like, set it in the refrigerator for, like, a week, that's what it would taste like. All right, and one more we'll do.
[00:05:33] Speaker C: That's a lot of marshmallows.
[00:05:35] Speaker D: We'll do the butterbeer ones in this one, too, and then we'll save the rest for the next one.
Now, this. If you're a Harry Potter fan, you know what this is, but let's see how these are.
If I can get them open.
[00:05:48] Speaker C: That's the challenge.
[00:05:50] Speaker D: Yeah. That's the hardest part, actually, is opening these things. They don't want to be eaten.
[00:05:55] Speaker C: It's our peep test, by the way, in case you just tuned in.
[00:05:58] Speaker D: Smell like. Yeah. So if you like peeps, we're sorry, because we're not fans.
[00:06:02] Speaker C: All right, so these are kind of a yellowish.
What is that?
[00:06:06] Speaker D: I just dropped the rest of them on the floor.
[00:06:09] Speaker C: Yellowish. It was a yellowish brown.
[00:06:12] Speaker D: This smell like.
Like toffee almost.
You don't like it? I like the way they smell.
[00:06:19] Speaker C: Let's hope the taste is better than the smell.
[00:06:24] Speaker D: It's kind of, like, butterscotchy a little bit.
[00:06:26] Speaker C: Yeah. There you go.
[00:06:27] Speaker D: With, like, an aftertaste. Of butterscotch. Okay. So of those three though, I think I would pick the butterbeer ones. I think I like those the best.
[00:06:34] Speaker C: Really?
[00:06:35] Speaker D: If I had to eat them, I would like to not eat any of them. And I dropped those on the floor. Look at the dust.
[00:06:42] Speaker C: Look at the Peep dust.
[00:06:45] Speaker D: This is why Peeps are the worst candy. Not only do they taste bad, but they leave dust everywhere.
[00:06:49] Speaker C: We are trying out the flavored Peeps today. We've already tried the regular Peeps and then the Dr. Pepper Flavored Peeps and then the. What is it? Beer. Butter.
[00:07:00] Speaker D: Butter Beer.
[00:07:01] Speaker C: That basically is a butterscotch taste. That stays with you.
[00:07:05] Speaker D: It does.
[00:07:05] Speaker C: Even if you drink an entire bottle of water.
[00:07:08] Speaker D: Really bad aftertaste taste in my mouth right now.
[00:07:10] Speaker C: So what's up next?
[00:07:11] Speaker D: This is sour watermelon.
[00:07:13] Speaker C: Okay. These do not. These do not win.
[00:07:15] Speaker D: They smell so good.
[00:07:16] Speaker C: They do not win the contest for best looking peep.
[00:07:19] Speaker D: Oh, I don't know. I kind of like the way they look. Look, they're pink on the inside and green on the outside.
[00:07:24] Speaker C: Oh, yeah, that's just lovely.
[00:07:25] Speaker D: I think they look good. They smell good.
[00:07:27] Speaker C: Smell that Green peep.
[00:07:29] Speaker D: Oh, I like that.
Oh, I don't like that.
[00:07:33] Speaker C: No.
[00:07:34] Speaker D: Oh, wait.
Oh, okay.
[00:07:40] Speaker C: Well, you can have the rest of mine.
[00:07:41] Speaker D: No, thank you.
I'm not even gonna eat the rest of mine. I don't mind that though. I kind of like the sourness.
[00:07:47] Speaker C: It goes with.
[00:07:48] Speaker D: That one's pretty good.
[00:07:49] Speaker C: I don't know. It goes with the way they look. They're green.
Green Peeps.
[00:07:53] Speaker D: It's the aftertaste that really does it for me. These are probably the prettiest ones. These are the peep frosted strawberry ones. The pop tart ones.
Now they have like a color of. They're like spotted and speckled.
So these are definitely the prettiest ones I've seen. Peeps. Strawberry pop tarts. Let's see. Look how pretty they are. They got little like sprinklies.
Thank you.
They smell like. Oh, they do smell like strawberry.
[00:08:20] Speaker C: Okay, that's not bad.
[00:08:22] Speaker D: I like that better than the watermelon.
[00:08:24] Speaker C: I think that one I could handle one.
[00:08:28] Speaker D: Yeah, maybe one that's not too bad. Okay.
Oh, now I'm like sticky and I'm covered in sugar.
[00:08:34] Speaker C: The Dr. Pepper so far to me is the. The best tasting one.
[00:08:38] Speaker D: Really?
[00:08:39] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:08:39] Speaker D: Okay. I think the best one for me.
I don't know. I kind of like that watermelon one.
[00:08:45] Speaker C: Do you?
[00:08:45] Speaker D: I do.
[00:08:47] Speaker C: I'm looking forward to this one.
[00:08:48] Speaker D: I am too. I think this should be the best because it's Rice Krispie treats, which. Have you ever had a Rice Krispies treat? They're marshmallowy. Anyway, I love Rice Krispies, so this one should. Theoretically, if I can get it open, just tastes like marshmallows. I'm struggling.
[00:09:02] Speaker C: These are the security lock on the.
[00:09:04] Speaker D: They don't want you to try these. Okay, here we go.
Now these are white. They're just white.
You ever put Peeps in the microwave? They swell up really big, just FYI.
[00:09:17] Speaker C: Do they really?
[00:09:18] Speaker D: Yeah, they get huge.
So if you're looking for something fun to do, stick them in the microwave.
[00:09:23] Speaker C: I know what I'm gonna be doing. Look at my fingers. I know what I'm gonna be doing today.
[00:09:26] Speaker D: Blowing them up in the microwave.
[00:09:27] Speaker C: Microwave.
[00:09:28] Speaker D: These smell like Rice Krispies.
Now that's pretty good. Cause it tastes like a marshmallow.
[00:09:34] Speaker C: It does.
[00:09:35] Speaker D: I don't taste anything else other than marshmallow.
So if I'm gonna eat a full one, it will be this one.
[00:09:40] Speaker C: I would rate this second.
I think the. As far as the flavor, the plain ones are okay.
As far as the flavor, though, I think the Dr. Pepper is still my favorite.
[00:09:52] Speaker D: I'm gonna have to make a ranking system for us. I'm actually gonna eat this whole one. I like the Rice Krispies because it just tastes like a marshmallow.
[00:09:58] Speaker C: You like those? There's no like, they peep your interest.
[00:10:01] Speaker D: They peep my. Yeah, they do.
[00:10:05] Speaker C: Well, we tried Peeps earlier today.
We opened up the regular Peeps and then we dove into the flavored Peeps.
[00:10:14] Speaker D: We had six different flavors of peeps this morning. Now we posted them on our Facebook page. Jessica said she only likes the yellow and the pink one. She'll try the other colors. But she said the sour watermelon. She was not a fan. Angela said that she really likes Peeps jelly beans and then peep like Dr. Pepsi had an actual Peeps drink she said was really good. But she said the Rice Krispies, the frosted strawberry party cake and wild berry she likes. But she really likes chocolate coated Peeps.
[00:10:40] Speaker C: Now see, I would try those that
[00:10:42] Speaker D: I could probably get on board with. And then Ashley said, I love Peeps but I just stick to the regular ones. She said the strawberry pop tart ones to her tasted like fake strawberry. Me and you actually ranked ours. So I ranked mine. The crispy treat was number one. Cause it just tasted like marshmallow. Then I liked the Butterbeer because it tastes like butterscotch. And then watermelon pop tart, Dr. Pepper and the regular for me. And then Mark's list is a little bit different from mine.
[00:11:05] Speaker C: So mine was Dr. Pepper number one. The regular peeps, then the crispy treats, the Pop Tarts, the Watermelon and then the Butter Beer Pop Tart.
[00:11:18] Speaker D: It's funny how like different ours are, but I think we can both agree that Rice Krispies, I mean it just tastes like marshmallows. So if you're going to pick a flavor, I mean, you know that one's even more of marshmallow than the original.
[00:11:27] Speaker C: Yeah, the aftertaste on the, on the flavored ones. The. If you haven't tried those, the aftertaste is going to stay with you all day.
[00:11:35] Speaker D: I have got the watermelon like in the back of my throat still. I can't get rid of it.
[00:11:39] Speaker C: I've had two glasses of watermelon and you can't get rid of these.
[00:11:40] Speaker D: I'm have to go eat something else to get this taste out of my mouth. So they will stick with you. I'm going to take some home to my daughter and see what she thinks. But yeah, let us know what you think on our Facebook page. My Journey fm.
[00:11:51] Speaker C: Yeah, Tried the tasted or the, the flavored peeps today and then somebody suggested, yes, somebody suggested that you should microwave one. So I never did this when I was a kid.
[00:12:02] Speaker D: Oh yeah, they swell up pretty big in the microwave. My husband likes to put two in there and watch them try and like fight each other. That looks really bad. How long did you put it in there for?
[00:12:10] Speaker C: So I put them in there for 30 seconds and then he, he did
[00:12:12] Speaker D: puff up and now he's like deflated.
[00:12:15] Speaker C: Deflated. And then like his, he's stuck to the e. He stuck to the plate.
[00:12:20] Speaker D: That sound is terrible. Smells like burnt marshmallow too.
[00:12:23] Speaker C: His little head is still there, but the rest of him is.
[00:12:26] Speaker D: Yeah, if you microwave them you won't be able to eat them. Now Deborah and my husband like to ew, gross. He broke like to leave them out and let them get crusty. Cuz they say stale peeps are even better.
Not a fan?
[00:12:38] Speaker C: Not for me.
[00:12:39] Speaker D: No. I told my friend I wasn't a fan and she said yeah, but you ate six of them. I said I took six bites. I did not eat all six of them. It was funny though. We had Tammy comment her and her husband, they do this like taste testing thing where they try these different things. They have a whole video that she shared with us but they found KFC jelly Beans that are like sweet corn, fried chicken and gravy flavored.
That sounds gross. Yes, but if I can find these, I will bring them in KFC flavor.
[00:13:07] Speaker C: KFC1 is kind of intriguing.
[00:13:09] Speaker D: Well, they're all KFC, but they're just. They come with different. The chicken one. You think you'll like the chicken one? I don't know. I think the corn one's gonna make me be sick.
[00:13:17] Speaker C: But I don't know about the gravy.
[00:13:19] Speaker D: I don't either, but if I find them, I'll let you know.
[00:13:22] Speaker C: Brittany and I did a taste test of flavored peeps and then we posted our rankings on our Facebook page. Thank you, by the way, for your comments. Phil says peeps. I never eat that nasty food. Is it really even food?
[00:13:35] Speaker D: I don't think so. Sharon said at Christmas time they do have gingerbread ones that are really good, but she hasn't tried the ones that we tried. Jennifer said yuck to them all and Donna said, no peeps for me. Well, Tammy posted yesterday and she said that her family does these taste tests and they do these YouTube videos. And the latest thing she did was KFC jelly beans. She said they're gross.
[00:13:56] Speaker C: Yes, I found them right before we went on. Brittany opened the bag and then had a really strong reaction to the smell. So that's what we were laughing about when we came in. And she said, I can smell them from over here.
[00:14:09] Speaker D: Oh, so they are.
We're going to try these fried chicken, gravy and sweet corn. Now it's hard to tell which one's
[00:14:16] Speaker C: which because I think the spotted ones are the fried chicken.
[00:14:19] Speaker D: Okay, the spotted ones are fried chicken. The dark yellow are the gravy and the bright yellow are the corn. I think that is a.
[00:14:30] Speaker C: They have a.
[00:14:31] Speaker D: They smell terrible already.
[00:14:33] Speaker C: Yes, they.
[00:14:34] Speaker D: Thank you, Tammy, for the suggestion. I was able to find these.
[00:14:37] Speaker C: All right, this is the. I'm eating the fried chicken.
[00:14:38] Speaker D: All right, Fried chicken can't be that bad, right?
Oh my gosh.
[00:14:43] Speaker C: Okay.
[00:14:44] Speaker D: No.
Oh. Oh, gross, gross, gross.
All right, was that fried chicken or was it gravy? I don't know.
[00:14:52] Speaker C: I don't know what that was.
[00:14:53] Speaker D: All right, here's the bright yellow one. It's probably corn maybe.
[00:14:57] Speaker C: Is that the corn?
[00:14:58] Speaker D: I think so.
That's got to be corn cuz it really doesn't taste like much.
That one's not so bad.
[00:15:04] Speaker C: No, I. I still have the taste of that first one in mine.
[00:15:06] Speaker D: And then this is the dark orange one which we think is gravy. Maybe that first one was gravy.
That first one. I could not even swallow it.
[00:15:14] Speaker C: Okay, there. There's. There's none in there.
[00:15:19] Speaker D: Oh, that.
[00:15:19] Speaker C: I would say these jelly beans.
[00:15:25] Speaker D: That is terrible.
[00:15:28] Speaker C: That was worse than the peas.
[00:15:30] Speaker D: That was worse than any of the peas. That's probably the worst thing that I've eaten, actually.
[00:15:34] Speaker C: That is a strong smell from the bag.
[00:15:37] Speaker D: I was gonna say leave the bag in here in case anyone on staff wants to try them, but I am not eating another one of those. Do not get the fried.
The KFC jelly beans. Tammy, you are correct. They are so gross. Not a single one of them is good to eat. Oh, my goodness. I need to, like, brush my teeth. I'm gonna, like. Oh.
[00:15:56] Speaker A: Start on a positive note. You're on the morning Journey with Mark and Brittany.
[00:16:02] Speaker C: Well, Brittany is atop the journey's leaderboard in our March Madness bracket.
[00:16:08] Speaker D: I am? Yes.
[00:16:10] Speaker C: Is that the first time ever?
[00:16:12] Speaker D: Yeah. Well, yes, I think it is. I have to hold onto it for it to count, though.
But, yes, Duke won, and so I'm very excited about that. They play St. John's and if they win that one, I think they can actually make a run for the national championship. The Sweet 16 games start on Thursday.
Duke plays on Friday. So I'm a little nervous. St. John's isn't going to be easy, but I think if we can beat them, I think we can win it all. So I'm kind of. And Florida's out, so that was a big one. That's why I'm first in our bracket. Because you have Arizona. I do two people. Casey and Kate had Florida, and so they're done. No, Casey and Deborah had Florida, so they're done.
[00:16:48] Speaker C: So I need Duke to lose.
[00:16:49] Speaker D: Right. Because me and Kate have Duke winning it all, so it's going to come down to our. Probably our national championship. But as of right now, I'm number one.
[00:16:57] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:16:57] Speaker D: I'm number one. I'm number one.
[00:16:59] Speaker C: 480 points, and then. Oh, you know what? I'm second.
[00:17:03] Speaker D: Yeah. And these. You have to look at 450 in the early rounds. You really have to look at your max points left, because each round is worth more points. And so as long as your final four is still intact, don't give up hope just yet. You might still have a chance to win whatever league you're in. But I'm number one. I'm number one for now. For now. And I get to wear my Duke stuff for another week, so. Yay.
I turn y' all on in the morning when I Get in my truck.
[00:17:28] Speaker E: It's helpful when I'm taking the kids to school.
[00:17:30] Speaker D: Here we go.
[00:17:31] Speaker A: It's the morning journey with Mark and Brittany.
[00:17:34] Speaker C: Well, a lot of people have a reaction when peeling onions. They. They may shed some tears. Brittany, apparently you have a very strong reaction. And it flared up over the weekend.
[00:17:45] Speaker D: It was so bad. So normally, like, I've ordered fajitas at a restaurant before and things like that. Never had a problem, like, but every time I chop onions at home, it gets so bad that my eyes just burn to no end and I have to leave the area. And if I can chop them up fast enough and put them in something like a plastic bag or in a sauce fast enough, then I'm okay. But as soon as it happens, it's really bad.
[00:18:08] Speaker C: Wow.
[00:18:08] Speaker D: And so we went into a fast food restaurant, and I don't know if they had burned onions or what happened, but you could see the haze in the air when we walked in. And by the time I had ordered at the counter, my eyes were. I've never eaten so fast in my entire life. I had to leave the restaurant. I went to the bathroom and put, like, cold water on my eyes, like, with a towel and everything.
And then I came back and I was still crying. I was like, phil, I need the keys to the car. Like, I have got to go sit outside. You guys finished? Like, I can't do this.
[00:18:37] Speaker C: You said for you. It was almost like a strong gas smell.
[00:18:41] Speaker D: I felt like I got tear gassed. Apparently, it is possible to have an allergic or severe sensitivity to onions only while cutting them. It's known as aerosol or contact reaction. So, I mean, I don't. I didn't get, like, hives or asthma or skin rash or anything like that. Some people get, like, it really bad. But my eyes watered so bad and burned. I mean, the burning, it was awful.
[00:19:03] Speaker C: So you may have, like, a form
[00:19:04] Speaker D: of that I must. Because I've never.
[00:19:07] Speaker C: Is it called aerosol contact reactant?
[00:19:10] Speaker D: I'm telling you, it was in the air. There was a haze in the air, and I had to leave the restaurant. I was like, I can't. I can't be here anymore.
[00:19:17] Speaker C: Well, a few minutes ago, we were talking about Brittany's strong reaction to onions.
[00:19:22] Speaker D: Yeah, it was so bad, I was in a restaurant and had to leave because I don't know if they burnt onions or cutting onions or what, but it would not go away. And once it starts happening, it, like, really bothers me for a long time. And, oh, we're getting a phone Call. Hold on. You're on the morning journey with Mark and Brittany. Hi. What's your name?
[00:19:39] Speaker E: Casey.
When you cut. When you cut onions, wear safety glasses.
[00:19:44] Speaker D: Oh, okay.
[00:19:46] Speaker C: Is that what you do?
[00:19:48] Speaker E: It works for me.
Just like the clear, cheap safety glasses from any hardware store.
[00:19:55] Speaker C: Okay, so do you have a strong reaction when you're peeling onions?
[00:19:58] Speaker E: I do.
And I can't remember how I came upon that little life hack, but it works pretty well for me.
[00:20:08] Speaker D: That's good to know. I've heard of lighting a candle before, but that's never seemed to work for me.
[00:20:12] Speaker E: Yeah, but the safety glasses are for me. They're very helpful.
[00:20:17] Speaker D: Perfect. Awesome. Thanks so much.
[00:20:19] Speaker A: Casey, start on a positive note. You're on the morning journey with Mark and Brittany.
[00:20:26] Speaker D: Well, you ever have one of those moments where you're like, oh, my goodness. Duh. Like a duh moment?
[00:20:31] Speaker C: Yes.
[00:20:32] Speaker D: That happened to me this morning. Now, this has been over a year ago.
I lost my Kroger card, like, the physical card, and to get a new one, they want you to, like, re. Sign up, but I don't want to, like, change accounts or anything. And I. I don't know my account number. I just wanted a new physical card because I don't like typing in my phone number every time.
[00:20:49] Speaker C: Just a new card?
[00:20:50] Speaker D: Yeah. And if you do the alternate id, you have to type in your phone number, and then they have an app, and I've been using the app, but you have to, like, click on the app, click on my account, click on my card. It's a lot of things to do at the checkout. I'm coming into work this morning, and I stick my keys in the front door, and lo and behold, on my keychain is your card. I have one of those little, like, tag cards.
[00:21:15] Speaker C: Didn't know you had that.
[00:21:16] Speaker D: Duh. I didn't. I completely forgot this was on here. And I don't have a lot. I have a library card, an Amazement square card, and a Kroger card.
[00:21:24] Speaker C: So you've never used.
[00:21:25] Speaker D: Been here all along?
[00:21:26] Speaker C: You've never used the key card?
[00:21:28] Speaker D: No, it's been on my keychain since I got the other physical card. I used to use the actual physical card, and now I know it's been on my keychain this whole time. It's been over a year.
So now I have an opportunity. Like, now I can use my cardigan. So yay.
[00:21:45] Speaker A: Encouraging. Because you need it now more than ever.
[00:21:48] Speaker C: You betcha.
